Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 18, 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through DealPoppy, operated by Star Dot Hosting Inc., a federally incorporated Canadian corporation. By placing an order, you agree to these purchase terms, our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Refund and Returns Policy, and any additional notices shown at checkout.

Business identity

The seller/operator of this website is Star Dot Hosting Inc. Customer support can be reached at wpadmin@stardothosting.com. DealPoppy is not affiliated with the Government of Canada.

Products and third-party fulfillment

DealPoppy may list products sourced from manufacturers, distributors, dropshipping platforms, warehouses, or other third-party suppliers. Products may be shipped directly by a supplier or fulfillment partner rather than by Star Dot Hosting Inc. We remain your storefront contact for order questions, but fulfillment timing, packaging, tracking, substitutions, and availability may depend on third-party partners.

We make reasonable efforts to present product descriptions, specifications, images, prices, availability, shipping information, and promotions accurately. Because supplier data can change, we may correct errors, update product information, cancel unavailable items, or refund orders where fulfillment is not possible.

Prices, taxes, and fees

Prices are shown before applicable taxes unless the checkout states otherwise. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout based on the information available to us. We aim to avoid mandatory hidden fees. If a charge is mandatory and not imposed by government, it should be shown before checkout completion or included in the displayed product or order price where practical.

Free shipping is enabled at launch unless a product page, cart, or checkout notice says otherwise. Free shipping means the customer-facing shipping line is free; supplier shipping and fulfillment costs may be included in product pricing or absorbed by DealPoppy.

Orders and acceptance

Submitting an order does not automatically mean the order has been accepted. An order confirmation means we received your order request. We may refuse, cancel, hold, or refund an order if:

  • payment authorization fails, is reversed, or appears fraudulent;
  • billing, shipping, or account information cannot be verified;
  • the product is unavailable, discontinued, incorrectly priced, or incorrectly described;
  • the supplier cannot ship to the provided address;
  • the order appears abusive, automated, suspicious, or contrary to these terms;
  • we are required to do so by law, payment-network rules, supplier rules, or a regulator.

Payment

Payments are processed through available third-party payment providers. You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the selected payment method for the order total, including applicable taxes. Payment providers may perform fraud screening, identity checks, or risk reviews. We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers on our website.

Shipping and delivery

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, unless clearly stated otherwise. Delivery can be affected by supplier processing time, carrier delay, customs processing, weather, labour disruption, address issues, fraud review, or events outside our reasonable control.

Where consumer protection law gives you a right to cancel for late delivery or non-delivery, those rights continue to apply. For example, Ontario consumer guidance states that when goods are not delivered within the applicable promised delivery timeline, consumers may have refund rights. Contact us if an order is substantially delayed or has not arrived.

Risk of loss and delivery issues

Risk of loss may pass when the carrier confirms delivery to the address provided, subject to applicable consumer protection law. If tracking shows delivery but you did not receive the order, contact us promptly so we can review the carrier record and supplier options. We may request photos, delivery details, written statements, or other information to investigate.

Returns, refunds, and damaged items

Returns and refunds are handled under our Refund and Returns Policy and any product-specific notices. Some items may be final sale, non-returnable, hygiene-sensitive, custom, perishable, digital, or subject to supplier-specific return restrictions where allowed by law.

If an item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from what was ordered, contact us promptly with your order number and supporting photos. Do not return items to a supplier address unless we provide return instructions.

Promotions and coupons

Promotions, discounts, coupon codes, bundles, and limited-time offers may be changed or withdrawn at any time unless prohibited by law. Discounts may not combine with other offers unless stated. If a promotional error occurs, we may correct the error, cancel affected orders, or offer a refund.

Product safety and lawful use

You are responsible for reading product instructions, warnings, compatibility information, and safety notices before use. Products must be used lawfully and as intended. If we learn of a recall or safety issue affecting an order, we may contact affected customers using the contact information associated with the order.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Star Dot Hosting Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or loss-of-profit damages arising from a purchase or use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection law.

Governing law

These purchase terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without limiting any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply in your province, territory, state, or country of residence.
